1:48 Tiger I (In Progress)
The Tiger I tank was in use from late 1942 until the German surrender in 1945. It was given its "Tiger" nickname by Ferdinand Porsche (the roman numeral was added after the Tiger II was produced). The design served as the basis for other armoured vehicles, the Sturmtiger heavy self-propelled gun and the Bergetiger amoured recovery vehicle.
I have been working on this Tamiya 1:48 little tank for a little while. Here are some pics in progress. Oh, by the way, I am a big fan of the tank. So, I will start my 1:16 RC tiger I after this one :) :)
Finished most of the construction. Mounting all the wheels for painting.
After primer and first round of airbrush to preshadow the tank body and turret.
Here is a closer look of them. I also airbursh the top of my little 1:144 gundam carrier.
Ok, why not this lttle core fighter as well.
This has the post-shadow, and one round of earth weathering.
Now, finish the first round of weathering the track.
More to come ...
