Shopping Eating and Having Fun in Hong Kong - Part 4 - 4
Hong Kong has food from all over the world. Here is BBQ Japanese Wagyu Beef at Iroha at Hong Kong. Things are in general very pricy for this kind of food. But hey, my friend is buying me :)
Yes, beef goes well with wine.
Ok, this is what we ordered. The smaller one is tongue, the bigger one is the best and most expensive beef on the menu :P
Tongue is always fun to BBQ.
Mmmmm ... yummy.
Next is the beef. Yes, the white stuffs are actually fat and that is why they are good. Wagyu refers to several breeds of cattle genetically predisposed to intense marbling and to producing a high percentage of oleaginous unsaturated fat. The meat from wagyu cattle is known worldwide for its marbling characteristics, increased eating quality through a naturally enhanced flavor, tenderness and juiciness, and thus a high market value.
Check out the grill marks.
I also some type of japanese pancake to go with the beef and wine ... (forget what the name is, anyone?)
Eat, drink ...
More eat and drink. Cannot get better than this for a vacation dinner :)
