setstats 1/60 Gundam Exia - Bandai - Photoshoot

Bandai 1/60 Gundam Exia Out-of-the-box build - Photo Shoot!

Here is the finished product. The shoulders and everywhere is in tone. Pretty happy with this out of the box build.

The back of Exia actually looks pretty good with all the swords sticking out.

Also love the GN drive.

The sanded leg. Looks good.

The GN blade.

The hand is cool.

The GN rifle.

The leg with the original sticker.

The back of the head (with the original sticker.)

The shoulder with the soft GN cable.

The GN shield is also good out of the box.

Check out the other parts!

Paint
For this exia, I just use all TAMIYA paints. I just shadow them (with a black pre-color and post-color) to make the color reflect a little differently. Fun.

Wow!
You did an awesome job on that Exia!

you have a very nice modeling set up! I was wondering if you would be willing to take some more pictures of your workspace. I am currently getting a similar workspace together and i would like to model it on yours.

So i got Exia, and i used spray on fine primer and then a spray paint blue. But it turned out to get air bubbles, and then i sanded it down and then reprimed/painted. it turned out pretty crappy, so i was wondering what should i use to remove the paint.

Remove Paint
If you are using acrylic paint (e.g. Tamiya), you can just use windex to remove the paint. After that, sand it down. Reprime and paint. Just make sure you have clean surface before you reprime and paint.
