The "New" Hong Kong Airport
Hong Kong is a very small place. Back when I grew up there, there is only two airport, the normal airport where everyone flies in and out and the military airport where the army men flies in and out. Here is the new airport opened back in 2004. Everyone is so excited since the old Kai Tak airport is glowing out of her own capacity.
It is new and it feels a lot more empty than the old packed Kai Tak airport.
Hong Kong (Chinese: 香港), officially the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, is a territory located in Southern China in East Asia, bordering the province of Guangdong to the north and facing the South China Sea to the east, west and south. It has a population of 7 million people but only 1,108 km2 (428 sq mi) of land, making it one of the most densely populated areas in the world. You can see a nice mixture of chinese and western culture everywhere.
I somehow really like the ceiling :)
Back in my father's days, people will dress up in suit and tie to travel by hair. Here is how it looks now :)
There are actually some normal (and great) chinese food in the airport. Most of the food served in US airports are below standard, the stuffs from the new HK airport is actually good.
Another ceiling shoot.
